The Secret To Hitting Your Goals-No Matter How Big

Boy On Ladder Touching The Clouds

Are You Scared Of Monsters?

Let me ask you a question: Are you scared of monsters?  I’m not talking about the “monster under your bed” kind we all feared as a kid.  No, I’m talking about a much bigger and much scarier monster-your goal.

You know the one I’m talking about.  That big hairy, audacious goal that is so big, and so far away from who and where you are today that you’re afraid to believe in it.  You look at it and say:  “I know it’s my goal but I just don’t know if it can really happen.”

You’re Not Alone

If the situation above sounds familiar, don’t worry you’re not alone.  Most of us set massive goals and struggle to believe in them.

However, no matter how out of reach your goal may seem, I’m very happy to tell you that there is a very simple process that GUARANTEES (yes, you read that correctly) you’ll hit your goal, no matter how big and scary it is.

The Formula For Success

So what is this magic formula that is guaranteed to make even the most ludicrous goal a reality?   Well, it involves a couple of steps:

  1. Write It Out. A goal that is not written is just a wish.  The first step in making any goal come true is to write it out on paper.  Set it for five years in the future.  Why five years?  Because most people overestimate what they can do in a year and underestimate what they can do in five.  Unbelievable things can happen in five years if you…
  1. Build A Plan. Even those who take the time to write their goals don’t always build a plan.  However, your plan is your road map to your dream.  Without a plan, you’re in danger of being pushed off course when the winds of difficulty begin to blow.

Even the most basic plan is better than no plan.  For example, if your goal is to generate $5             million as an online marketer, but today you don’t even have a business, step one will be to enter a study course on how to effectively sell online, step two would be to build a landing page, step thre…  You get the picture.

  1. Forget About It. Here’s one of the most important things in hitting your massive goal-forget about it.  Yes, you read that correctly.  Completely put your goal out of your head.

Instead of your goal, focus on…

4. G.T.N.T.D – This is the magic formula for attaining ANY goal, no matter how big.

G.T.N.T.D. stands for:

G-Get

T -The

N -Next

T-Thing

D-Done

“Get The Next Thing Done” is the key to hitting your goal, because it’s all about taking action.  Specifically, taking action on the next thing you need to do.

Here’s an example:

If your goal is to be generating $5 million in your business within the next five years, you don’t focus on the $5 million.  Instead, all you would focus on is getting the next thing in your plan accomplished.  It may involve building a landing page, or writing a Facebook ad, but the key is that you are making progress against your goal by taking things one step at a time.

A Journey Of A 1000 Miles Leads To Your Goal

You may have heard the old saying: “A journey of a 1000 miles begins with the first step”.  Well, this is what taking that first step looks like,  as well as the second, third, fourth, etc.

Great accomplishments don’t come from massive life changing events.  Rather, they come from setting a goal, building a plan, doing one thing at a time and sticking with it.

Dedicate yourself to this and before you know it, you’ll slay that big, hairy monster called your goal.

Now Go Get The Next Thing Done.
